Our tea room is open as usual, however, we are still offering our local delivery service of cupcakes and afternoon teas

We deliver Monday - Saturday between 9am and 12:30pm

We are also able to offer a collection service from our tea room (pre orders only)

Places are Non Refundable or Transferable
(eg - please don’t ask to be transferred onto another class if you cannot make the one you have booked)

We will, however, try to re-sell your place for you should you no longer be able to attend.
This is not guaranteed but we do sometimes have a waiting list for the classes.

Allergens

Whilst we do offer cakes baked without gluten and dairy as well as vegan friendly cakes, please note, that due to using all allergens in our kitchen we cannot guarantee that our cakes are free from all traces of any allergen. Therefore, our products are not suitable for anyone with a severe allergy. We will not be held responsible for any allergic reaction caused from consuming any of our products.

Payments

Wedding Cakes - To secure your wedding date we ask for a £100 deposit. This deposit is non refundable. The balance of your wedding cake is due four weeks before the date of your wedding.

Celebration Cakes - To secure your order we ask for full payment upon booking.

Payments can be made by cash, card or bank transfer.

Cancellations

All cancellations must be made in writing.

Wedding Cakes - Should you need to cancel your wedding cake more than four weeks before your wedding date, your deposit is non refundable. If you cancel your wedding cake order less than four weeks before your wedding date, the full payment including the deposit is non refundable. Should you need to reschedule your wedding date, we will try to accommodate your new date and all payments will be transferred to the new date. If we are unable to accommodate your new date, your booking deposit will remain non refundable.

Celebration Cakes - Should you need to cancel your celebration cake order more than two weeks before the collection date, we will offer a 75% refund less the cost of any work already undertaken. Should you need to cancel your celebration cake order less than two weeks before the collection date, no refund will be offered.

By making payment for your order (deposit or full) you agree to these cancellation terms

Cake Care

Transporting your Cake

• Keep your cake flat during transport (the boot of the car is ideal) If transporting in the boot make sure there isn't anything that could knock into and damage the cake. 

• Keep your car as cool as possible (especially if your cake is finished with buttercream) 

• Make sure you hold your cake from underneath, keep the cake flat and straight when carrying and do not tilt.

• DRIVE CAREFULLY!!

Storing your Cake

• If your cake is covered with fondant icing, please keep in a cool dry place until serving 

• If your cake is a buttercream cake, ideally, this needs to be kept in the fridge until serving/displaying. Please remove any cardboard toppers before refrigerating. If you cannot fit your buttercream cake in the fridge, please keep as cool as possible. 

• When displaying your cake please make sure it is in a cool spot, away from radiators, sunny windows etc. If it’s a hot day, just be mindful that butter melts and consider keeping the cake in the fridge as long as possible. 

• We suggest eating your cake on the day of your event, but if there are any leftovers these will keep best if they are well wrapped and kept cool and dry. Our cakes can be frozen. 

Non Edible Parts

Some of our cakes will have non edible elements to them, please remove these before serving. 

• If your cake is tiered it will have support dowels in the bottom tiers which will be visible once you separate the tiers. These can be easily removed by just pinching them out, or if you need a bit of extra help, use a pair of scissors to grip them. 

• Some ribbons will be secured with a non edible fixing to the base of the cake (into the cake board - never the cake itself) Please remove before cutting and serving the cake 

• Some icing models and figures will have non edible skewers and dowels for extra support, Some flowers will have wires to hold them in place and some cakes will have non edible figures, models or flowers, please remove all before cutting and serving the cake. 

Cake Design

When you choose Cherry Blossom Bakery to make your cake for you, you give us your permission to create something bespoke for you. We do not copy other cake makers designs, but can use them as inspiration. Cake making is a creative process and we reserve the right to make any alterations that we feel will suit the cake as long as the overall design fits with the initial brief agreed with you.

Any cake ordered from a picture or photo of a cake produced by any other cake maker can only be reproduced as our interpretation and not an exact copy

We will not be held responsible for customer disappointment of the design or the interpretation of the cake as long as it is made in line with the customer’s pre-agreed requirements.
